The Oakland Raiders days using the Oakland Coliseum as their home field have been numbered for quite some time now. In fact, there was a pretty long time where they were uncertain if they'd even be playing there this year.

Now, however, the final days are finally coming. 2019 will be the last year at the Coliseum for the Oakland Raiders.

Their quarterback is ready to go out with a bang, as Derek Carr announced on Twitter.

Derek Carr has been the quarterback of the Oakland Raiders for the last five seasons. Last year was arguably his worst as Oakland went 4-12 (tied for the second-worst in the NFL) and Carr threw a career-low 19 touchdown passes.

However, there's a lot of positive to build off of too. Carr completed a career-best 68.9 percent of his passes, totaling for a career-high 4,049 yards in the air. More importantly, he has a revamped group of weapons that should make life a lot easier on him.

Of course, the biggest acquisition is wide receiver, Antonio Brown – arguably the best in the NFL at the position. They also added Tyrell Williams and Ryan Grant in free agency, and Hunter Renfrow in the draft. They all add up to make a very strong receiving corps for Carr – the best he's ever had in fact.

The Raiders also got Josh Jacobs to make their running back group that much more dangerous.

With the Oakland Raiders entering year two in the Jon Gruden era, things should start to ramp up. That means a lot of excitement that's fitting of a very talented roster. There are plenty of reasons to agree with Derek Carr – the Oakland Raiders could very well go out with a bang in their last season at the Oakland Coliseum.
