The Las Vegas Raiders will face a tall task in their upcoming Week 5 matchup as they visit the Kansas City Chiefs. Quarterback Derek Carr will need to maximize every player available at his disposal, especially wide receiver Henry Ruggs III. The rookie will now be making his return after missing multiple games due to knee and hamstring injuries.

Carr couldn't hide his excitement to have a reliable weapon back in the team's lineup ahead of the game:

“I’m excited, man, we’re going to need him,” he said. “We’re going to need everyone going into Arrowhead. It’s not easy. It’s tough. Tough environment, tough team. Henry has shown some great signs of some great attributes, some things that you love to see of his work ethic, route running ability. I wish we would have got to see more of it the past few games but because he was hurt, we didn’t see it, but his toughness, man. The kid is tough.”

The Raiders started the 2020 NFL season on a high note with an opening game win against the Carolina Panthers followed by a surprising victory against the powerhouse New Orleans Saints.

The Men in Black have been walking on tight rope ever since the rookie missed their Week 3 matchup against the New England Patriots which resulted to a 36-20 loss.

Carr aimed to bounce back from their first loss by having his best performance in their following game against the Buffalo Bills. He tallied a total of 311 passing yards on 32-of-44 passes completed along with two passing touchdowns.

His efforts still weren't enough as they went on to suffer another defeat on a 30-23 outcome. The Raiders now head to Week 5 proceedings with an even 2-2 record.

With the former Alabama standout available to play in their upcoming game, the Raiders are giving themselves a good chance to hand the Chiefs their first loss of the season.
