The Oakland Raiders brought in a controversial figure during the NFL offseason by acquiring running back Marshawn Lynch. Along with the hometown product already making an impression on the field for Oakland, Lynch is also going to be on a reality show.

According to Jessica Toonkel of Reuters, Lynch will have his own reality show on Facebook, and the social media network is willing to pay a lot to make it happen.

Facebook Inc (FB.O) is paying Time Warner Inc’s (TWX.N) Bleacher Report millions of dollars for a reality show on NFL player Marshawn Lynch, the sports site told Reuters – a sign that the social media firm is willing to pay top dollar to lure viewers and ads to its Watch video service.

Lynch's show, “No Script,”  joins the likes of “Ball in the Family,” which is also on Facebook's Watch platform and featuring a professional athlete in Lonzo Ball of the Los Angeles Lakers and a controversial figure in LaVar Ball.

“Ball in the Family” has already begun airing the show on Facebook's Watch with new episodes on Sunday. Lynch's new show, however, will start this month, but no definitive date was given in the Reuters article.

“No Script” will start streaming this month and consists of eight 10- to 15-minute episodes featuring various antics by Lynch, who is returning to football as a running back for the Raiders.

As for the Raiders, Lynch and company will get back to work after beating the Tennessee Titans in Week 1 facing the New York Jets at Oakland Coliseum in the veteran's first regular-season game on their home field.
