It remains to be seen as to where the Oakland Raiders will play their home games next season. With an eventual move to Las Vegas looming closer and closer each day, the Raiders are attempting to both retain one of the more loyal fan bases in sports while also trying to build an even larger following.

Although it is impossible to keep everyone in this situation happy, it appears as though Raiders head coach Jon Gruden is continuing to solely focus on football.

In the most recent headline created by what has become quite the tumultuous situation in Oakland, Gruden made a point to note that he'd “love” to have veteran running back Marshawn Lynch back with the Raiders come the 2019 season — regardless of where the AFC West franchise is based out of.

“We’d love to have him back,” Gruden said specifically when asked about the possible return of “Beast Mode,” via Michael Gehlken of The Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Though a man of very few words, Lynch had already commented on his future with his hometown Raiders.

“If it works out that way, then I will,” Lynch previously said on an episode of Real Time with Bill Maher.

Currently a free agent free to sign with any team from around the league, Lynch notably came out of retirement to sign a two-year deal with the Raiders ahead of the 2017 season. Soon-to-be 33 years of age, Lynch could quite possibly return to his life as a retiree, especially with the Raiders' immediate future in Oakland unclear.

The former Buffalo Bills and Seattle Seahawks running back is a native of the Oakland area, which ultimately led to his initial return to the NFL two seasons ago.
