Las Vegas Raiders halfback Josh Jacobs wasted no time getting into the antics of the offseason. The 22-year old was arrested on Monday morning following a single-car accident, per FOX TV's Kevin Bolinger.

Jacobs was found to be driving under the influence at the time of his arrest:

Also per Bolinger on FOX's website, Jacobs was later released from police custody as he awaits his court hearing on March 8.

The Raiders also addressed the situation with a statement on Monday, Per Josh Dubow:

Jacobs doesn't have a history of finding himself in off-the-field troubles, so there may not be too many repercussions for him from the Raiders. However, it remains to be seen as to what actions the league may take as well given their stance on remaining law-abiding citizens while off the gridiron.

Jacobs just finished a spectacular season with the Raiders in which he rushed for 1,065 yards from 273 carries, resulting in 12 touchdowns. His performances earned the second-year back his first Pro-Bowl selection. He also played sparingly well from the downfield aspect, catching 73.3 percent of his passes for 238 yards in total.

After turning in an exceptional rookie campaign, Jacobs continued to mesh well with Derek Carr as the two formed a unique pairing in the backfield. While the Raiders were able to get off to a 2-0 start, the rest of the season became an up-and-down affair that never saw the Raiders find much consistency.

As a result, the Raiders finished their last game of the season in a 32-31 win against the Denver Broncos, resulting in an 8-8 record and eliminating them from playoff contention.
