Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs appeared on the injury report due to a knee injury and illness. However, the Raiders expect him to suit up against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports.

It certainly seemed like the 22-year old would miss the showdown against the Chargers. Jacobs didn't participate in Las Vegas' practice on Thursday after attending Wednesday's session. However, he did turn in limited activity in their schedule on Friday and will likely be ready for Sunday.

Jacobs has been dealing with the knee issue for majority of the season. It wouldn't be surprising if the Raiders hold him out for precautionary reasons.

If the 2019 first round pick indeed does give it a go, there's also a possibility that he may play without a one of his usual blockers. Aside from Jacobs, offensive tackle Kolton Miller is also on the injury list for the Raiders due to an ankle injury. Las Vegas tagged him as a game-time decision, but Rapoport says the 25-year old has an uphill battle to play. Kolton missed three straight practices this week.

Earlier this week, the NFL fined the Raiders half a million dollars for and took away a 2021 sixth round draft pick for violating COVID-19 protocols. Likewise, head coach Jon Gruden was fined an additional $150,000 for repeated violations.

It's certainly never great to get penalized and get future draft assets taken away. Las Vegas hopes they finish the week on a good note with a win over the Chargers.
