Josh Jacobs was expected to play for the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday versus the Indianapolis Colts, only for him to come out on Instagram claiming he wouldn't be suiting up.

However, Jacobs was seemingly trolling everyone:

Jacobs is known to be dealing with an ankle injury that kept him sidelined for last week's tilt with the New York Jets. Despite not practicing earlier in the week, Jacobs returned to practice on Thursday, making it likely that he would be active in Week 14.

Jacob is indeed active, but he threw everybody off with his Instagram post. Of course, with fantasy football playoffs beginning in Week 14, some of the people rostering him are banking on him playing. For the time being, it appears that everyone who inserted him into their lineups can take a deep breath.

In 11 games this season, Jacobs has 782 yards and nine touchdowns. While the Raiders running back is on pace to eclipse 1,000 rushing yards for the second straight season to begin his career, he's averaging only 3.8 yards per attempt in 2020.

Players are aware of how fans are when it comes to fantasy football and injuries. With that in mind, it seems as if Jacobs was attempting to create some humor at the expense of the people who have rostered him.
