Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs was downgraded over the weekend to questionable with an illness (non-COVID-19), but he's now feeling better and is on track to play on Monday Night Football against the Baltimore Ravens, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Jacobs — who also was recently dealing with a minor toe issue — went through the Raiders' walkthrough on Monday morning and was in much better shape, clearing the way for him to suit up. This is a boon for Las Vegas given the running back is at the top of the depth chart and is coming off another productive season.

The Raiders selected Jacobs with the 24th pick in the 2019 NFL Draft after he played at Alabama. He took the NFL by storm as a rookie, rushing for 1,150 yards and seven touchdowns in 13 games. He averaged an impressive 4.8 yards per carry.

Jacobs took a slight step back in terms of his rushing efficiency in 2020, averaging 3.9 yards per carry en route to 1,065 yards in 15 games. However, he did rack up 12 touchdowns and also caught 33 passes for 238 yards. The Raiders running back caught passes for 166 yards as a rookie.

Jacobs is joined in the backfield by Kenyan Drake and Peyton Barber. Jalen Richard is currently on IR. Drake could see a decent role as a change-of-pace back for Las Vegas.
