The Las Vegas Raiders are heading to Nevada for this summer's training camp. As part of their transition from Oakland to Las Vegas, the team will also be moving out of their training facility in Napa, California and transferring their 2020 training camp in their new home in Nevada. This comes after the NFL set new parameters and protocols due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The team's official announcement was posted by Scott Bair of NBC Sports Bay Area in twitter:

There have been a lot of adjustments for the entire league as the whole world battles COVID-19. In one recent development, the NFL is asking teams to hold their training camps at home to help mitigate the spread of the virus.

This means that the Raiders, who have held their training camp in the Bay Area for the past 24 years as the Oakland Raiders, will have to officially move out of California and fully transition to Nevada by July.

Lucky for the Raiders, they are set to open their new training facility by the end of the month. The Intermountain Healthcare Performance Center in Henderson, Nevada will be the team's new training complex as they welcome a new chapter in their franchise.

The Raider's new practice facility is a a state-of-the-art complex just outside of Las Vegas and will feature an indoor training facility that will hopefully keep the team away from the painful Vegas summer heat. The Raiders are also set to suit up in their new home, the Allegiant Stadium, for the 2020 regular season.
