Oakland Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown has been at odds with the NFL over the usage of his helmet, which is now banned by the league for no longer being certified by the NOCSAE.

Brown filed a grievance against the NFL over the issue earlier this month and lost, but now, Brown has filed yet another grievance against the league and seems to be fighting an uphill battle.

Brown's former Pittsburgh Steelers teammate, New York Jets running back Le'Veon Bell, understands Brown's frustrations, but also thinks that the wide out should simply comply with the league rules:

“As a skill player, it’s kind of hard to change your helmet, especially when you’ve been playing so long with it,” Bell said, according to Bob Glauber of Newsday. “I understand where he’s coming from, but at the same time, it’s a rule, so you have to change the helmet. I changed my helmet my second year [with the Steelers], and I’ve been playing with a certain helmet my whole career. It was hard to do, but I knew this was coming eventually, so I might as well change my helmet now.”

Basically, Bell is echoing just about everyone else's thoughts when it comes to the situation between Brown and the NFL.

Brown spent the first nine years of his NFL career in Pittsburgh before demanding a trade earlier this offseason. The Steelers granted his request, sending him to the Raiders for a couple of draft picks.

Thus far, off-the-field drama has gotten Brown more attention than what he has done on the gridiron this summer in Oakland.
