The Las Vegas Raiders managed to sign former Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten. It appears they were not done poaching off of America's Team.

According to Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News, defensive tackle Maliek Collins will be joining Witten in Las Vegas:

Cowboys DT Maliek Collins says in text message he has agreed to terms with the Raiders. So, Collins and TE Jason Witten both headed from Dallas to Las Vegas.

The Raiders had plenty of salary cap space to work with coming into free agency. They have wasted no time in putting it to good use by signing former Los Angeles Rams linebacker Cory Littleton. It is clear they are still adamant about filling the rest of the gaps on their roster.

Collins came into the league as a third-round pick for Dallas in the 2016 NFL Draft. After struggling to find his footing as a rookie, he was able to etch out an integral role for himself as one of the anchors on defense. He finished the 2019 NFL season with 20 tackles, 4.0 sacks, and 10 quarterback hits.

Although Collins' numbers may not be eye-popping, his balanced skill set should help to pay huge dividends for this Raiders' front. His durability also makes him a trustworthy option after starting every game for the Cowboys over the last four seasons.

The Raiders are set to usher in a new era at Allegiant Stadium for the 2020 NFL season. It is safe to say that they have done a solid job of bringing in household names to help them kick things off in style.
