The Los Angeles Chargers and Los Angeles Rams are trying to win over fans in the City of Angels. Both teams have spent time in Los Angeles during their franchise's history, but neither dominated the market in terms of fan base popularity like the Los Angeles Raiders.

As the Chargers and Rams try to establish their roots back in Los Angeles, Raiders owner Mark Davis can only sit back and laugh as these two struggling teams try to win the battle for the second-biggest market in this country, via Vincent Bonsignore of the L.A. Daily News.

“You know, it’s kind of funny,” Davis said. “They’re talking about the fight for Los Angeles. And Raiders fans have been telling me we already won that fight, And that the Rams and Chargers are fighting for the No. 2 and 3 spots.”

The Raiders, however, are beginning their transition to another location as well. After another long stint in Oakland, the up-and-coming Raiders will soon be playing under the bright lights of Las Vegas which is only four hours away from Los Angeles.

The one thing the Raiders have going for them, along with an avid fan base, that the Chargers and Rams don't, is the fact they're a team on the rise in the NFL. Derek Carr has quickly turned into one of the best quarterbacks in the league while Khalil Mack is arguably the best defensive player. Both players helped lead the Raiders into the playoffs last year ending a postseason drought that lasted over a decade.

After years of disappointment, the storied NFL franchise has legitimate stars on both sides of the football to build around and a new state-of-the-art stadium being built for them in a city that has been waiting to embrace the NFL for years.
