Former Buffalo Bills and Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch finished up his NFL career — again — as a member of his hometown Oakland Raiders. After spending two seasons in Oakland as a member of the once heralded AFC West franchise, Lynch hung up his cleats for a second time while it now appears as though the veteran rusher hasn't been able to stay away from the game for too long.

The former Oakland running back was recently seen in Napa Valley, California, where the Raiders are hosting the team's latest installment of training camp — a session that is notably being captured by HBO's hit series, “Hard Knocks.”

Although it initially appeared as though the Raiders could use Lynch's services once again this season, Oakland has since officially moved on from the recently oft-injured running back. In Lynch's absence, the Raiders spent one of the team's three first round draft picks in 2019 on former Alabama Crimson Tide running back Josh Jacobs, who projects as Oakland's starter in the backfield for Week 1 of the 2019 regular season. Even as a rookie, Jacobs has the ability to flourish in head coach Jon Gruden's high-powered offense.

In addition to adding Jacobs as a rookie, the Raiders infamously managed to acquire for All-Pro Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown to pair with veteran quarterback Derek Carr. With Carr already in place in Oakland, the Raiders now have a three-headed monster on offense, a group that the team will need to step up in a big way if it is going to truly compete against the likes of the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, and Denver Broncos in the AFC West division.
