The Oakland Raiders are starting fresh this year with the addition of new head coach Jon Gruden. In his second stint with the team, Gruden is cleaning house with Marshawn Lynch's future with the Raiders uncertain.

There's a rumor currently circulating about Lynch potentially blowing off a meeting with Gruden. That rumor was emphatically denied by Lynch's agent who took to Twitter on Thursday.

The rumor Hendrickson is referring to comes from the Las Vegas Raiders Report who claim to have “numerous sources” confirming Lynch skipping the meeting with Gruden.

Numerous sources have confirmed to the Las Vegas Raiders Report that Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch was a no-show at his scheduled meeting with new coach Jon Gruden and attempts by the team to reach him by phone have failed.

Gruden has yet to make any comment on Lynch's future with the team nor has anyone confirmed whether the two have met since he signed on to become Jack Del Rio's successor in Oakland. There's no telling what the future holds for Lynch in Oakland, but he remains under contract for the 2018 NFL season.

It'll be interesting to see how it all pans out in Oakland with Gruden determined to shake things up. There's been some speculation that Le'Veon Bell could become a free-agent target for the Raiders as they try to bolster their running game, but it may be a stretch with the Pittsburgh Steelers reportedly interested getting a deal done with their All-Pro running back.
