Although the Oakland Raiders encountered quite the disappointing season in 2018-19, the once-heralded AFC West franchise is now looking to rebound in a hurry under the direction of head coach Jon Gruden and new general manager Mike Mayock.

Luckily for Oakland, the Raiders secured three first round 2019 NFL Draft picks en route to adding some young talent to cap off a busy offseason.

It is also worth noting that the aforementioned Mayock appears to have an affinity for former Alabama Crimson Tide and Clemson Tigers players as the first-year general manager has added a slew of players that played in last year's National Championship Game.

As is well-known by now, the Raiders ultimately selected three players from either Clemson or Alabama in the top 40 picks on the 2019 NFL Draft — two of which came in the first round.

Therefore, when Oakland plays the Cincinnati Bengals and former Alabama offensive lineman Jonah Williams on November 17th and the New York Jets and former Alabama defensive lineman Quinnen Williams the following week on November 24th, there will be three first-round draft picks on the field who played in last season's collegiate title game.

Not only that, but those matchups will combine to feature four top-40 picks from that same national title game between Clemson and Alabama — assuming all of these players are healthy and garner significant playing time, of course.

However, the Raiders do not play the Miami Dolphins and former Clemson defensive lineman Christian Wilkins or the New York Giants and former Clemson defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence.
