This is definitely not the way Antonio Brown and the Oakland Raiders hoped their season would start. However, the lines have been drawn and the team has been forced to make a decision.

With the volatility the wide receiver has shown recently, nobody is sure if he will actually suit up for Oakland this season. Should things come to a breaking point, it wouldn't be shocking to see the team cut the unpredictable wideout from the team.

However, they can stop him from playing for any team this season if they manage to pull off this specific set of moves within the next couple of days.

According to Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio, they can drop him from the team and put him on the reserve/left squad list. They will be able to do this if he leaves the team and refuses to come back after receiving the “five-day letter”. This way, Brown gets shut down and will have to see out the rest of the 2019 season from his couch at home.

There are have been conflicting stories about the controversial wide receiver over the past couple of days. He got into a screaming match with GM Mike Mayock and is apparently due for a suspension. All of a sudden, he reportedly asked for his teammates' forgiveness, to which they willingly accepted.

Nobody barely got to digest the news when he posted a video with a recorded conversation with head coach Jon Gruden. The cherry on top of this chaotic cake is his latest IG post that is asking the Raiders to release him.

Brown is still a quality wide receiver in the NFL. He's notched 11,207 receiving yards over his nine-year career. In fact, he led the NFL in receiving touchdowns last season with 15.

However, there are plenty of questions surrounding his attitude. No NFL team would want to pick up a talented player that would cause nothing but disruption in the locker room.

Raiders fans don't deserve this in the team's last season in California, but they are forced to watch this farce as it heads to a train wreck of a conclusion.
