Since the Oakland Raiders made the decision to move on from All-Pro defensive end Khalil Mack in a trade to the Chicago Bears, there has been plenty of scrutiny on the franchise.

This has only been more poignant over the first several weeks of the season with the team winning just one of their first six games that have seen them play with a lack of a true pass rushing presence. According to Chris Trapasso of the Buffalo News, the Raiders currently rank last in the NFL. (h/t Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk)

According to Chris Trapasso of the Buffalo News, using data compiled by Pro Football Focus, the Raiders are dead last in the NFL in pressure rate: Oakland has pressured the opposing quarterback on only 21.3 percent of passes, easily the worst rate in the league. No other defense is below 25 percent.

The Raiders have no essence of any pass rush since the departure of Mack as the Raiders are also currently tied for last in the NFL with seven sacks through the first six weeks of the season. Outside of Bruce Irvin and rookie Maurice Hurst, no other player on the team has recorded multiple sacks as it has been an utter lack of pressure created on opposing quarterbacks.

Although Mack is currently dealing with an injury, he has been off to an impressive start out of the game this year as he's currently in the top 10 in the NFL with 5.0 sacks and tied for first with four forced fumbles that have been a huge part in helping push the Bears to possess one of the better defenses in the league.

What this has quickly turned out to be is a move that has quickly put the Raiders in an even more tough spot that could possibly become one that they regret dearly down the line.
