Ndamukong Suh has one of the most decorated careers of any modern defensive tackle. The five-time Pro Bowler, three-time First-team All-Pro, and two-time Second-Team All-Pro received the largest contract (at the time) of any defensive player in NFL history when he signed a six-year, $114 million deal with $60 million guaranteed with the Miami Dolphins in 2015.

Now, following his release from Miami, his focus is on one thing: winning.

The 31-year-old likely only has a few more years left in his career, and while he'll still likely land a significant salary on the open market, he wants to play for a team that has a legitimate chance to win the Super Bowl. In addition to other favorites to land Suh in the New Orleans Saints, Tennessee Titans, Los Angeles Rams, and Seattle Seahawks, he's now scheduled to meet with the Oakland Raiders on Wednesday, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

While Suh isn't quite the disruptive force that he used to be, he still has plenty left in the tank to contribute to a winning team down the stretch of his career. While Oakland finished 12th against the run and 10th in total defense in 2017, they gave up the 13th most points in the NFL. Khalil Mack dominated the edge, but the Raiders failed to consistently drive pressure through the A gaps, which makes Suh an intriguing fit.

The pressure is on the Raiders and new (old) head coach Jon Gruden to get back to the playoffs after a disappointing 2017 campaign. Adding Suh to the mix certainly improves their chances as they look to navigate what should be another competitive AFC West race.
