The Oakland Raiders are considered by many to be a top landing spot for Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown, and according to Dan Fetes of WROC, the Raiders offered a second- and fourth-round draft pick for him.

This was before reports surfaced that the Steelers were closing in on a deal to send Brown to the Buffalo Bills, which then fell apart.

Now, we have to wonder if Pittsburgh will revisit talks with Oakland.

Of course, the rumor has been that the Steelers will not accept anything less than a first-round draft choice for Brown, and the Raiders have three of those to offer before next month's NFL Draft.

Some have speculated that Oakland could offer Pittsburgh the 27th overall selection, which is the pick the Raiders received in the trade that sent wide out Amari Cooper to the Dallas Cowboys this past season.

Brown is coming off a 2018 campaign in which he hauled in 104 receptions for 1,297 yards and a league-leading 15 touchdowns en route to his sixth straight Pro Bowl appearance.

However, in spite of his on-field production, it was his off-the-field issues that led to him wearing out his welcome in Pittsburgh.

Things came to a boiling point in the week leading up to the season finale, when Brown got into a heated dispute with Ben Roethlisberger that apparently ended in Brown throwing a football at the quarterback.

The 30-year-old then refused to practice, complained of knee pain but refused to go for an MRI and then went AWOL on the team before being consequently benched by head coach Mike Tomlin for the Steelers' Week 17 game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
