When the Oakland Raiders first traded for Antonio Brown, there were a lot of question marks. Sure, he was the best wide receiver in the NFL – but what about all the other issues?

Brown seemed to have a lot of problems with his old team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. He clashed with other players, as well as sitting out the final game of the season in 2018.

According to Michael David Smith of ProFootballTalk.com, Oakland has had nothing to complain about.

Head coach Jon Gruden has praised Antonio Brown for his wonderful work ethic and being the hardest working practice player he has seen.

Despite all the problems that have arisen over the last few months, this really shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. Brown has always been one of the hungriest players in the NFL.

Don't forget that the wide receiver was a sixth-round pick back in 2010. He wasn't supposed to be one of the greatest the game has seen at the position.

That's exactly what Brown has done, though, posting six straight seasons of over 100 receptions. He recorded double-digit touchdowns in four of those seasons, having eight and nine in the other two. Finally, all six years have also produced at least 1,250 yards receiving.

This didn't happen by accident. It happened because Antonio Brown has always been an incredibly driven and motivated individual. Say what you will about some of the other antics that have gone on, but you can't knock Brown for his work ethic. That much is becoming clear to Jon Gruden and the Oakland Raiders.
