Safety Curtis Riley has taken to Twitter to announce that he will be signing with the Oakland Raiders.

Riley spent the 2018 campaign with the New York Giants, starting all 16 games and finishing with 75 tackles, four interceptions, five passes defended and a defensive touchdown.

This past season marked the first real opportunity Riley has gotten during his NFL career.

The 26-year-old, who played his collegiate football at Fresno State University, went undrafted but ended up signing with the Tennessee Titans in May 2015.

He then spent the 2015 campaign on the injured reserve list, and shortly before the 2016 season began, the Titans waived him. However, Riley then re-signed with Tennessee three weeks later and ultimately appeared in four contests that year, failing to log a statistic.

The White Plains, N.Y. native then participated in seven games the following season, registering 11 tackles and an interception.

Riley went on to sign with the Giants last March and proceeded to have a rather shaky 2018 campaign, as he led all safeties in missed tackles.

The defensive back is just the latest addition for a Raiders team that has undergone a makeover this offseason, also adding wide receivers Antonio Brown and Tyrell Williams, offensive lineman Trent Brown and safety Lamarcus Joyner, among others.

Oakland won just four games this past year and has made the playoffs just once since last making the Super Bowl back in the 2002-03 campaign. Since then, the Raiders have posted just one winning season.

The franchise will be entering the second year of Jon Gruden's second go-around as head coach. He had previously served as Oakland's coach from 1998 through 2001.
