Las Vegas Raiders offensive tackle Trent Brown will be released from the hospital on Monday, according to Pro Football Talk.

Brown is still in Cleveland, where Las Vegas played on Sunday. He had to be admitted to the hospital because of a mishap with an IV before the Raiders’ game against the Cleveland Browns.

As expected, Raiders head coach Jon Gruden has no idea when Brown will be able to play again. At this point, Gruden and the Las Vegas players are just thankful the big fella is doing well since an air embolism can be life-threatening.

Without Trent Brown, Gruden and Co. defeated the Browns on Sunday to improve to 4-3 on the season. They are in second place in the AFC West standings.

Las Vegas isn't going to win the division since the Kansas City Chiefs are rolling right now at 7-1. It appears the Raiders will have to clinch a Wild Card spot to reach the postseason.

Against the Browns, Raiders starting quarterback Derek Carr went 15-of-24 for 112 yards. He threw one touchdown pass to Hunter Renfrow, who caught four balls for a grand total of 26 yards. It was really windy in Cleveland on Sunday, so both teams had to rely on their ground games.

Las Vegas will take on the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 9. The Chargers are only 2-5 on the season, so that's a game the Raiders should be able to win as long as they don't take their foot off the gas pedal.
