The Oakland Raiders will be facing an imposing pass rush of the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. Luckily for Oakland, starting tackle Trent Brown will play in Week 3 versus the Vikings per Ian Rapoport.

The Raiders' right tackle sustained the knee injury last Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. Due to the knee issue, Brown missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday but was a full participant on Friday.

Oakland signed Brown earlier this offseason to a lucrative four-year deal, worth $66 million. Prior to joining the Raiders, the high-priced offensive tackle spent the 2018 season with the New England Patriots.

In the first two contests of the season, Brown has played in 104 offensive snaps and has been penalized twice. On a positive note, Brown has yet to allow a sack on Derek Carr this season.

Coming into Sunday, the talented right tackle will have his hands full with Danielle Hunter this week. For the Vikings so far, Hunter has accumulated two sacks and four hits on the quarterback to begin the season.

Altogether, the Vikings are tied for the fourth-most sacks in the NFL with six of them in two games. Conversely, the Raiders have only allowed three sacks this season (tied for third-fewest in the NFL).

The Raiders are already road underdogs in their matchup against the Vikings on Sunday. The point spread likely would've been slightly expanded if Brown was unable to go in Week 3.

Nevertheless, he will be in uniform when the team comes out of the tunnel prior to the game, with his focus being on protecting Carr's right side from the moment that the ball comes off of the tee.
