The Oakland Raiders knew exactly what they were getting when they signed Vontaze Burfict. In just the fourth game of the season, Burfict was ejected for lowering his helmet versus the Indianapolis Colts.

Ever since being drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2012, Burfict is known to be a physical player. At the same time, many have labeled him as a dirty player. Regardless of what your opinion of him is, the hit he made against the Colts is uncalled for.

On the play, Jack Doyle reaches down to haul in a pass from Jacoby Brissett. Then, as he was turning upfield, Burfict dove towards the Colts tight end with the crown of his helmet. As a result, he was penalized for unnecessary roughness and was ejected from the game.

This isn't the first (or second) time that the Raiders linebacker has been ejected from a game for lowering his helmet. Burfict should expect to see a hefty fine from the league office in his mailbox following Sunday's game.
