On Friday, a report surfaced that the Indianapolis Colts could have some interest in Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr if he became available.

Not long afterward, Carr posted a photo of himself playing against the Colts on Instagram.

Hmm…

Ordinarily, this wouldn't mean much of anything. But Carr posting Instagram photos of himself playing against teams in need of a quarterback has been a running theme for the 28-year-old over the last couple of days.

Earlier this week, Carr posted photos of himself saluting Raiders fans during a game against the Los Angeles Chargers and then one of him greeting Chicago Bears linebacker Khalil Mack.

Of course, the Chargers announced last week that they would be parting ways with long-time signal-caller Philip Rivers this offseason. Meanwhile, the Bears could potentially look to upgrade from Mitchell Trubisky.

This could all be much ado about nothing and could merely be Carr playing the fans and the media, but it would not be shocking if the Raiders did decide to move him in the coming weeks (or months).

Let's remember that rumors swirled about Carr's future with the club last year, but head coach Jon Gruden and general manager Mike Mayock remained committed to him at that time.

However, with the Raiders now moving to Las Vegas, you have to wonder if they will jettison Carr to signal a total rebuild and possibly draft a quarterback.

Carr is coming off of a 2019 campaign in which he threw for 4,054 yards, 21 touchdowns and eight interceptions while completing 70.4 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 100.8.
