The Las Vegas Raiders selected cornerback Damon Arnette out of Ohio State in the first round (19th overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft.
On Saturday, they finally signed him to his rookie contract. And Arnette took to social media to send a message to the fans.
Arnette posted the video on his Instagram story, but Anthony Galaviz of the Fresno Bee took to Twitter to repost the video.

The video is short and to the point, Damon Arnette is announcing that he is officially a Raider.
It's pretty clear in the video that the defensive back is excited too. And who can blame him, he is a first round pick about to get his first NFL contract and play in his first game soon enough.
This is also exciting news for fans of Las Vegas though. Damon Arnette is a welcome addition to their secondary and should immediately bolster the group nicely.
And to add to the excitement a little more is Galaviz's tweet. Not only does he post the video of Damon Arnette celebrating that he signed his deal, but there's more.
Galaviz also slips in another detail in his tweet. “other Raiders rookies will do the same today.”
So this is not the only rookie deal being signed today. That adds even more hype to the train that Damon Arnette started. The rookies are all signing and Las Vegas is gearing up for some football in 2020.
Damon Arnette looks to be a big part of their future, and could contribute nicely immediately. Meanwhile, the other rookies are set to make their mark as well.
Raiders' fans have a reason to be optimistic about their future, and Damon Arnette is a main cog in that. He's excited, you should be too.
