The Las Vegas Raiders were happy to welcome back wide receiver Henry Ruggs back in the mix for their AFC West showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs. It has not taken him long to make his presence felt in the passing game.

Ruggs somehow managed to haul in the pass from quarterback Derek Carr by pinning the ball on the defender's helmet. David Tyree would be proud of this effort:

The 46-yard reception from Ruggs helped put the offense in scoring position for their first points of the day. More importantly, the rookie is showing why he was the first receiver taken in the 2020 NFL Draft. Las Vegas selected Ruggs with the No. 12 pick out of Alabama.

Ruggs was sidelined for the last two games due to knee and hamstring injuries. Fortunately, his return gives the Raiders some much-needed firepower to keep up with the dominant Chiefs' offense.

Ruggs will also have a chance to show why he believes he's faster than wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

The Raiders entered play Sunday with a 2-2 record. The defending champion Chiefs are 4-0 behind Patrick Mahomes. There should be plenty of highlights from this one.
