Oakland Raiders fans don't have a lot of reasons to be happy. Their team is playing its final season in Oakland. However, Josh Jacobs and the team played fantastic football to give the fans something to cheer for.

The team is leading 14-0 over the Denver Broncos after going through one of the craziest weekends by releasing Antonio Brown. It's an impressive statement from the team after all of the drama that Brown gave them.

Moreover, Jacobs gave the fans plenty of reasons to cheer for when he got the TD in the second quarter.

The team is two yards shy of the end zone, and the Broncos didn't want to balloon their opponents' 7-0 advantage. The moment they figured out that the Raiders were going to run it, they clogged the middle.

However, they gave Jacobs all the time he needed. He had a running start and leaped over the line of scrimmage. While the Broncos secondary managed to hold him up in the air, the Alabama product managed to get the pigskin over the line for the team's second TD.

Jacobs is expected to become one of the team's exciting players as they bid farewell to California. He actually shared that he understood Brown's point of view when he asked for the trade.

“My role was going to be what it was, and my game was going to speak for itself regardless of any circumstance,” he insisted, per Daniel Blackham of The Express. “And that's just how I view it. I respect [Brown's] decision.

“I was with him yesterday, so I knew everything; I was right there with him when he made the phone call. It is what it is. I understand his point of view. At the same time I understand [the Raiders'] point of view. But at the end of the day, it's not my business, so I just stay in my lane, focus and control what I can control.”

Jacobs will be an important cog in the Raiders offense this season. And given the way he won his first career TD, fans can expect more gritty play from him.
