Teams looking for a boost on their offensive line are probably salivating at the display Mekhi Becton presented during the NFL Scouting Combine. Mike Mayock and the Oakland Raiders are among those who were impressed by the outrageous speed the lineman showed during the 40-yard dash.

A video of the Raiders general manager's reaction was showcased by Raiders Wire's Levi Damien. It was obvious by his reaction that he was impressed with what the 369-pound linebacker was able to show:

Becton is listed as the heaviest man in the draft, but the fact that he's notched a time of 5.11 seconds on the 40 is nothing less than impressive, with the Raiders certainly being among the teams that could consider selecting him. He's already billed as one of the first offensive linemen to be drafted, and the incredible speed he showed on top of his weight will only make his draft stock a lot more impressive.

He only played for two seasons with the Louisville Cardinals, but he easily made his impact on the team. The solid performances he's shown on the various drills make him a very viable talent to acquire in the first round for teams like the Raiders who may be looking to bolster their offensive line.

It also helps that he knows his worth. His confidence in his talent will make his rookie season a lot easier. Per Sam Neumann of Jets Wire:

“I feel like I’m the most dominant tackle in the draft,” Becton said. “You wouldn’t go wrong taking me.”

The Raiders have the 12th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, and it's likely that they'll use their pick on him if the New York Jets don't get to him first.
