Trayvon Mullen just made a huge play for the Las Vegas Raiders, as he led the home squad to an incredible defensive stop to end the first half of their game against the defending champions, Kansas City Chiefs.

Mullen intercepted a Patrick Mahomes heave at the goal line to keep the Chiefs at bay and preserve a slim 17-14 lead for the Raiders coming into the half time break.

Watch the cornerback pick the reigning Super Bowl MVP:

Patrick Mahomes was trying to connect with WR Demarcus Robinson, but Trayvon Mullen read the play perfectly and had his eyes set on the football. It was Mahomes' first interception of the evening and only his second of the season.

It has been a tug of war so far in Las Vegas, as both teams traded blows in the first 30 minutes of play. Fortunately for the Raiders, they created a narrow 3-point lead heading into the half.
