Ubisoft released two videos today on Rainbow Six Extraction, the new title of the long-awaited Rainbow Six Quarantine. The first video was used the new title: Rainbow Six Extraction. In the Dev Team Title Reveal video, the game's producers teased what the game will be like.

Apparently, Rainbow Six Extraction will be borrowing some ideas from the successful Rainbow Six Siege game. “We took the strong foundations of Rainbow Six Siege and crafted a modern tactical co-op shooter where you will be facing an always evolving alien threat,” says Ubisoft Montreal Creative Director Patrick Methé. It seems like the tight communication skills players learned from playing Siege will carry over in this new co-op PvE shooter. Operators were mentioned, so it seems like we're getting more of the unique operators we got from Siege.

“You'll have plenty of challenges to overcome. But you'll always have one goal in mind: making sure no one gets left behind,” shares Methé. He also shares that the team will always have the choice of whether to push forward or to call for extraction. This is an interesting take, which suggests that teams with endurance can actually go on forever in this new game.
