For the past two games, Rajon Rondo has found himself in coach Fred Hoiberg’s doghouse.

After being benched in the second half against the Indiana Pacers two nights ago, the former All-Star point guard saw no playing time at all in their gut-wrenching loss to the Milwaukee Bucks last night.

The Chicago Bulls’ summer acquisition was expected to form the team’s own version of a Big Three, but with the latest benching that he has gotten lately, Rondo says that he will ‘absolutely’ ask for a trade.

Losers in four out of their last seven games, the Bulls are currently a half-game game behind an equally idle New York Knicks team for the East’s 8th spot.

A meeting is set to take place between him and GM Gar Forman to address the matter.
