Los Angeles Rams superstar defensive end Aaron Donald turned 30. While most would say age is but only a number, one of the best in the business feels a bit different. Donald's production and his numbers aren't dipping at all but entering training camp, he says he's really starting to feel his age.

“I’m getting older,” the Rams defensive tackle said Wednesday. “I feel it. My aches and pains last a little longer, so I definitely feel it.”

While this isn't what Rams fans want to hear at all, Donald's honesty shouldn't be surprising. While 30-years-old doesn't sound old, when you're playing on a defensive line and constantly causing chaos for opposing offenses while absorbing double-teams for years, it probably does start to take a toll.

Rams coach Sean McVay however, isn't really buying it. He still seems the same Aaron Donald, according to ProFootballTalk.

“He looks pretty damn good to me. He has got that same look in his eye. He looks good. He had a good first day. We know that he’s working hard. I think he’s going to pick up right where he left off and what he has done, since I’ve been fortunate enough to be around him, has been pretty spectacular. He is one-of-one.”

The Rams have legitimate Super Bowl aspirations in 2021 following a playoff appearance a year ago and the addition of Matthew Stafford in this offseason. Of course, a lot of those plans ride on the shoulders of Donald as well and the hope in LA is that once the season starts, he'll feel as good as ever.
