According to the Associated Press via ESPN, Aaron Donald had a very impressive season and the votes he received that sent him to the All-Pro Team are unlike any other players this season.

Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald was the only unanimous choice in balloting by a nationwide panel of 50 media members who regularly cover the league. The Rams star defensive player was pleasantly surprised by the news as well.

“That's surreal,” Donald said. “It's a blessing. Wow! You see the hard work pay off. A lot of credit to my teammates and my coaches for pushing me and helping me.”

Donald had 20.5 sacks and 59 combined tackles this season after getting the deal he deserved prior to the 2018 season. He was the team's standout player from start to finish of the 2018 season. This season was historic for Donald and he was a menace for opposing offensive linemen.

Donald will look to continue his impressive play from the regular season as the Rams wait and see who will come out of the Wild Card games to face them at The Coliseum. Donald has been able to break free a bit more this season since the Rams added Ndamukong Suh to the defensive line.

Opposing offensive lines are no longer able to double team Donald as often, which in turn has led to his highest sack total in his five-year career. Donald also was able to accumulate 25 tackles for a loss, which was also a career high for the Rams' defensive tackle.
