All season long, we have heard about the supposed decline of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. He wasn't supposed to be in the Super Bowl again. This was supposed to be the end.

Of course, Brady has proven his doubters wrong, putting together a couple of masterful playoff performances to earn his ninth trip to the Super Bowl.

Los Angeles Rams cornerback Aqib Talib is familiar with Brady, having won a championship with him in New England during the 2013-14 campaign while also making his first Pro Bowl that year.

Talib doesn't think Brady is showing any signs of slowing down. As a matter of fact, the veteran defensive back thinks the 41-year-old is getting even better:

“He ain’t lost nothing. He in the Super Bowl again,” said Talib, according to The Boston Globe. ““This is another year under his belt. I think he’s just getting better.”

Maybe Talib should have a talk with his teammate, fellow cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman.

Prior to Talib's comments, Robey-Coleman declared that age has taken a toll on Brady and that he is not the same signal-caller that he once was, noting his physical dropoff.

It seemed like Talib was trying to throw some sand on the fire that Robey-Coleman may have lit under Brady, but at this point, it's probably too late. As if Brady needed any more motivation to face the Rams.

Brady is aiming to win his sixth Super Bowl title. The five rings he currently owns are already the most of any NFL quarterback in history, with Joe Montana and Terry Bradshaw coming in second with four apiece.
