Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Brandin Cooks will play during his team's game against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Cooks has been sidelined since Week 8 due to a concussion, which marked the second concussion he has suffered this year.

On the season overall, Cooks has logged 27 catches for 402 yards and a touchdown.

Cooks is now in his second season with the Rams after coming over in a trade with the New England Patriots in April 2018. During his first year in Los Angeles, Cooks played in all 16 games and hauled in 80 receptions for 1,204 yards and five scores.

The 26-year-old, who played his collegiate football at Oregon State, was originally selected by the New Orleans Saints in the first round (20th pick overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft.

He spent the first three years of his career with the Saints, with his breakout season coming in 2015 when he caught 84 passes for 1,138 yards while reaching the end zone nine times. Cooks then followed that up by snaring 78 balls for 1,173 yards and eight touchdowns in 2016.

That ensuing offseason, New Orleans traded Cooks to New England, and in one season with the Patriots, he registered 65 grabs for 1,082 yards and seven scores.

The Rams are trying to defend their NFC title, but they are just 6-4 thus far and are in third place in the NFC West. They are also currently behind both the Seattle Seahawks and the Minnesota Vikings for the conference's two Wild Card spots.

Los Angeles is coming off of a Week 11 win over the Chicago Bears.
