Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp has proven to be quite the steal in recent years following a breakout 2019 campaign. It appears the rest of the NFL has finally started to take notice.

According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, a poll of NFL executives revealed Kupp as one of the most underrated players:

“Show me a matchup that’s been unfavorable for him,” one NFL head coach said. “I know DBs are always concerned about him. He rarely goes down on first contact, makes the most of his speed. He’ll show a lot this year.”

Although Rams fans are well-aware of Kupp's contributions and what he brings to the table, it was only a matter of time before word about his elite potential got out to the rest of the NFL.

Los Angeles had high hopes for Kupp when he dropped to them in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He wasted no time taking on an immediate role as a go-to option for quarterback Jared Goff after finishing his rookie year with 62 receptions for 869 yards and five touchdown.

Kupp was in the midst of another stellar year in 2018 until his season was cut short with a torn ACL. Fortunately, he was able bounce back with his best season yet by hauling in a career-high 94 receptions for 1,161 yards and ten touchdowns in the 2019 campaign.

Despite the departure of Brandin Cooks this offseason, the Rams still boast one of the most talented underrated receiving tandems in the NFL with Kupp and Robert Woods. Of course, keeping this group intact will cost general manager Les Snead a pretty penny with both players looking for lucrative, long-term extensions in the near future.
