The Los Angeles Rams have made some significant changes to both their roster and coaching staff heading into the 2020 NFL season. Now that the Rams are ready to usher in a new era at SoFi Stadium, it seems wide receiver Cooper Kupp felt it was the perfect time to make a change of his own.

Kupp recently took to Twitter to announce he will be changing his Rams number from 18 to 10 this season:

Kupp had arrived with plenty of promise for the Rams as a third round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. Unfortunately, he came one year too late from acquiring his college number after it had been taken by wide receiver Pharaoh Cooper following his arrival in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

Although Cooper was released during the 2018 campaign, it seems Kupp was more focused on bouncing back from the season-ending ACL injury he suffered that year. Fortunately, he was able to do just that by ending his stint as No. 18 on a high note: 94 receptions for 1,161 receiving yards and 10 receiving touchdowns with the Rams, establishing himself as a dark horse candidate for Comeback Player of the Year.

Kupp is now slated to start a new chapter of his own by debuting No. 10 for the Rams' new $5 billion stadium in Inglewood. The move should certainly help pay huge dividends for his fans looking to purchase both versions of this jersey. Of course, it is clear that the decision to switch numbers is something that carries great meaning to him.
