Having two members of the same family become professional athletes is pretty rare, but to have them both play for the same team at the same time is perhaps even more extraordinary. For Cooper Kupp and younger brother Ketner, however, that’s precisely what happened, and according to Cooper, life is extremely good right now.

Speaking to the media during the Los Angeles Rams’ minicamp, Cooper – who is currently rehabbing a torn ACL – said that he’s enjoyed having his brother around.

“It’s so much fun, so much fun,” Cooper said at minicamp. “We’ve had just a couple times where I’ve had to block him on defense — kind of a throwback to our college days when we were doing that.”

While the two of them have yet to begin sharing the field, the elder Kupp has still called the situation a “total blessing” for him.

“He eats a lot of my food at my house, sleeps on my couch almost every night,” Cooper said with a smile. “It’s so much fun — total blessing. Any time you are able to be around family at this point in your life and have family as much as we do, I don’t take that for granted at all. It’s an incredible experience and a blessing for us.”

Ketner Kupp signed with the Rams as an undrafted free agent and will be trying to join the team's linebacking group. Should he make the team, he and Cooper will see plenty of time with each other on the field during training camp, and with Cooper already having some NFL experience, he can likely try and help Ketner adjust to the NFL lifestyle.
