Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp is in a race for fitness as LA prepares for their NFC Divisional Round matchup against the Green Bay Packers on Saturday. According to reports, the 27-year-old will be a game-time call for the Rams with a knee issue.

This comes via Adam Maya of NFL.com:

The Rams wide receiver is a game-time decision to play Saturday versus the Packers, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported. Kupp is officially listed as questionable.

Kupp suffered the knee injury during the Rams' 30-20 win over the Seattle Seahawks in the Wild Card Round. He clearly hasn't recovered fully from what appears to be nothing more than a minor knock. It is, however, serious enough to put Kupp's status in doubt in what is going to be LA's most important game of the season thus far.

It is worth noting that head coach Sean McVay earlier expressed his confidence in Kupp taking the field against Green Bay. Unfortunately, the Rams' top wideout was unable to practice with the squad all week long. It now appears that it will all boil down to how Kupp's knee responds to pre-game warmups on Saturday.

Kupp is one tough cookie, and he actually tested positive for COVID-19 a couple of weeks ago. The former Eastern Washington standout was able to beat the coronavirus without a hitch, so all things considered, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Kupp tough it out on Saturday. After all, this is the NFL playoffs we're talking about here.
