The Los Angeles Rams will have to decide on whether or not to bring back Dante Fowler Jr. in the offseason. Fowler took to Twitter to claim that he's just getting started after a career year with the Rams in 2019.

Back in 2016, the Jacksonville Jaguars selected Fowler with the No. 3 overall pick out of Floria. Considering the spot he was drafted at, the Florida product was expected to make an immediate impact for the Jaguars.

Instead, in his rookie campaign, Fowler would total four sacks, six tackles for loss, and 11 quarterback hits. As for his second season, Fowler would tally eight sacks, seven tackles for loss, 10 quarterback hits, and two forced fumbles.

But after seven games into the 2018 season, it was apparent that Fowler didn't fit into Jacksonville's future plans. Therefore, the Jaguars decided to trade Fowler to Los Angeles in exchange for a third and fifth-round pick.

Upon his arrival to the Rams, he became a vital piece to the defense. Despite having just two sacks in his eight games with Los Angeles in 2018, Fowler made his presence felt in the NFC Championship Game. The Florida native delivered a hit to Drew Brees in overtime that forced an interception.

For an encore, Fowler came into the 2019 season with a little extra motivation. In 2019, the fourth-year defensive end produced a career-high 11.5 sacks, 16 tackles for loss, 16 quarterback hits, and two forced fumbles.

Following his career year, Fowler is set to become an unrestricted free agent in 2020. Regardless of where he plays in 2020, Fowler is turning into a talented edge rusher. At just 25-years-old, Fowler still has plenty of room for improvement moving forward.
