The LA Rams got a huge boost to their defense after completing the trade for Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey. It's a move that's an important boost for GM Les Snead's team. They have Super Bowl aspirations but lack the performance to back it up.

However, it seems like the price for acquiring Ramsey didn't come cheap. They apparently spent two first-round picks and a fourth-round selection in order to get the deal across. Some feel that the price they gave up for acquiring him is a bit excessive.

However, Snead believes that this helps the team boost their chances for a Super Bowl return. According to him, the team's aggressiveness on the market will help them reach the form they badly need.

Per Yahoo! Sports' Kimberly A. Martin:

“We’re not going to be scared. But we’re not going to be reckless,” Los Angeles Rams general manager Les Snead said with a smile last Friday, as he opened up about his philosophy on building a team.

It's been revealed that this isn't the first time the front office head had this philosophy in mind.

“We only live once, so don’t live your life scared,” Snead told Yahoo Sports, only four days before orchestrating the Ramsey trade. “… Any time you make a move, you do try to have protocols in place that can help you make sound decisions. But you’re not playing for the tie. You’re trying to go win.”

Ramsey will be a great boost for a team that lost its last three games. Moreover, the manner by which they lost to the San Francisco 49ers was nothing short of embarrassing. Ramsey will be a great addition to the team once he's cleared to play.
