Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay has become the talk of the town lately as teams from around the league continue to hire young, up-and-comers as their respective leaders. With McVay already creating quite the coaching pipeline, the Rams head coach has now generated perhaps his most notable headline of all as his team will now officially begin to look ahead to a Super Bowl matchup against either the Kansas City Chiefs or New England Patriots.

On Sunday afternoon, McVay's Rams clinched a spot as the NFC representative in Super Bowl 53, thanks to an overtime win over Drew Brees, Sean Payton and the New Orleans Saints. In doing so, McVay is now in line to make some serious history as the youngest head coach ever to lead a team to the Super Bowl.

McVay, who is currently in the midst of his second season as the Rams head coach, is just 32 years old. However, he will turn 33 ahead of the Rams' fourth Super Bowl appearance, which still won't put a damper on his historic accomplishment.

The Rams immediately turned things around under the direction of McVay while the NFC West franchise has certainly upped the ante in a hurry. Though McVay and the Rams reached the postseason last year as well, it was an early exit and a long offseason that ultimately led to Sunday's win over the surging Saints. The Rams and Saints remained the favorites to meet in this year's installment of the NFC Championship Game while Los Angeles has now avenged its previous loss to New Orleans from earlier in the season.
