The Los Angeles Rams have the entire NFL landscape buzzing, especially after the huge trade to bring Matthew Stafford on board. On the other side of the country, the Minnesota Vikings have shown a lot of talent.
Star wide receiver Justin Jefferson, who ran wild in his rookie season, is apparently ready for a matchup with Ramsey, who has proved to be one of the best defensive backs in the NFL. In a recent episode of the All Things Covered podcast, Jefferson named Ramsey as the corner he wants to face most.
“Jalen Ramsey…I'm waiting. That game is circled. That game is circled for me.”
The matchup between the Rams star and the Vikings young wideout will be fantastic. Unfortunately, we have to wait until the end of December to see this.
Last season, Ramsey was phenomenal and shut down a ton of star receivers. On the flip side, Jefferson eclipsed the 1000-yard mark in his rookie campaign, so the two going head-to-head is meant to be, and surely Ramsey is going to show him the ropes.
Buckle up for this matchup, and the Rams and Vikings could very well be battling for playoff seeding by the time they face off, making this matchup even that much more important.
