All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey just completed his first game with his new team, the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams dismantled the now 1-6 Atlanta Falcons in the Peach State, 37-10.

Reacting to the first time after playing for the L.A. franchise, the former Jacksonville Jaguars defensive back rated his performance:

Ramsey was traded by the Jaguars to the Rams this past week for two first-round picks and a fourth-round pick. Los Angeles sought to fortify its secondary and after sending two-time Pro-Bowl cornerback Marcus Peters to the Baltimore Ravens.

The Rams' acquisition of Ramsey was highly controversial following tenuous weeks between the former fifth overall pick of the 2016 NFL Draft and Jacksonville. Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone and Ramsey were seen engaging in a screaming match early in the season, and Ramsey later had issues with the AFC South franchise's management regarding contract extension discussions.

Jaguars owner Shad Khan — who also owns English Premier League club Fulham FC — told the press he did not want to trade his star corner in Ramsey. However, after last week's absence by Ramsey, Khan and the Jaguars did indeed send the DB packing, with this being the “last straw” for Ramsey's case to stay.

Ramsey recorded four solo tackles against the downtrodden Falcons on Sunday.
