Jalen Ramsey made his debut for the Los Angeles Rams during the team's 37-10 win over the Atlanta Falcons.

After the game, Ramsey told reporters that he felt that he played ‘OK' and that he still needs to get his ‘grove back a little more.' That is understandable given that he hasn't played since Week 3 as a result of what was listed as a back injury, but it also partly could have been due to his desire to be traded away from the Jacksonville Jaguars.

“I feel like I played OK,” Ramsey said, via ESPN.com. “I got to get in my groove a little bit more, it’s just maybe one, maybe two plays that I wanted to have back or play a little bit different, but I thought it was good.”

Rams head coach Sean McVay felt that Ramsey provided a “big boost” to the team's defense. That appeared to be the case given that he recorded four tackles and forced a fumble that resulted in a takeaway.

The Rams made an effort to simplify their defense for Ramsey during their matchup with the Falcons since he hasn't even been on the team for a week. Eric Weddle stated that they used about '30 percent' of their regular defensive scheme as a result. Despite using a simplified strategy, the Rams held the Falcons to an underwhelming offensive display.

The focus for Ramsey will be to learn the Rams' full defensive scheme and that could only further increase his impact. The future is bright in Los Angeles.
