Troy Hill left the Los Angeles Rams and joined the Cleveland Browns this offseason, leaving big shoes to fill in the Rams' secondary. He finished last year with his best season yet, putting up 77 total tackles, 10 pass deflections, and three interceptions.

It's been speculated that David Long Jr. will take over Hill's role in Los Angeles, but it seems as though Jalen Ramsey has a different candidate in mind, per Yahoo Sports.

Ramsey provided his recommendation through Twitter, expressing his interest in the Rams signing Corn Elder. The three-year man had his best season as well, totaling 40 tackles and three pass deflections for the Carolina Panthers.

Elder has much room for improvement, but according to Jalen Ramsey, he'd be a perfect fit for the Los Angeles defense. The Rams defense is already stacked with talent, as they finished as one of the best defenses last year. Adding Elder would make sense, as he's a player who could take a massive leap in production if he's on the right team.

Currently, there are no reports of Corn Elder visiting the Rams. Ian Rapoport has only mentioned that Elder is visiting the Detroit Lions on Thursday. However, with a recommendation from one of the best cornerbacks in the league, interest from other clubs might expand for Corn Elder.

Both Elder and Ramsey grew up in Florida, however, they went their separate ways when it came to college football. Ramsey attended Florida State, while Elder was a Miami Hurricane during their collegiate careers. Ramsey is clearly interested in bringing a friend into the same team he is, reuniting the duo at the professional level.
