The Los Angeles Rams and Jared Goff had a lot of issues adjusting against the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl and that has stuck with the Rams quarterback all off-season. Goff told Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated that the Rams see similar defensive approaches 75-80 percent of the time.

For 20-25 percent of the time, they see something completely different and that's what happened in the Super Bowl and they couldn't adjust. Goff and the Rams are working more this offseason on the 20-25 percent so the team is more prepared for the next time it happens.

“They’re so unique in that they change weekly in what they’re doing,” Goff said. “I think for me personally, if we were play them again, or any team that’s similar to them that can do that, you have to be able to adjust on the fly a little bit quicker. As opposed to waiting for something to happen, you have to actively adjust to what they’re doing, and adjust to what a team is trying to present to you, whether it’s something they showed on film or not.”

As much time as the team is spending on it, the chances are they probably won't use it a ton next season but they can't have it happen again during the biggest moments like the Super Bowl. The expectations are sky high again for the Rams this season and if the team doesn't make it back to another Super Bowl this season will probably be considered a disappointment.
