The Los Angeles Rams are facing off against the Chicago Bears to being the season on Sunday and Sean McVay's team is making a lot of preparations, of course. But, the Bears' quarterback situation is a tricky one.

While head coach Matt Nagy has named Andy Dalton the starter over Justin Fields, it remains to be seen exactly how long it takes for Fields to overtake Dalton for the starting gig. In fact, according to Nick Shook of NFL.com, the Rams and McVay are preparing for both quarterbacks to get some run.

“I think it would be naive for us not to prepare for them to be able to utilize him in some form or fashion… think you got to be ready for either or, but it's going to be challenge, for sure.”

Of course, nobody has any idea what the Bears do except the Bears themselves, but it wouldn't be too out of the ordinary if Nagy draws up a few plays for Fields. Also, the Rams defense is tenacious, and if Dalton struggles, perhaps Fields steps in and tries to stop the bleeding.

Sunday should be interesting, and the Rams will be ready for whichever quarterback is out there for any given play.
