The Los Angeles Rams will be traveling to London to take on the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 8, and they'll do so without one of their running backs. According to J.B. Long, Malcolm Brown is ruled out for Sunday's game versus the Bengals.

Following the Rams' loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 6, it was discovered that Brown injured his ankle in the game. As a result, he missed an entire week of practice and was sidelined in Week 7.

Now, it appears as if the injury is serious enough to keep the team's backup running back out for the second straight week. Prior to the injury, Brown had rushed for 154 yards on 37 attempts and two touchdowns. On the other hand, he hasn't been much of a receiving threat with just one reception for 10 yards this year.

With Brown ruled out, Todd Gurley will continue to see a larger workload as the starter in the backfield. Gurley totaled 54 yards on 19 touches and a touchdown in Week 7 against the Atlanta Falcons.

Additionally, rookie Darrell Henderson will likely continue to see an increased role in the offense this Sunday. The rookie out of Memphis has rushed for 70 yards on 17 carries since Week 6. Henderson has also added two receptions for 17 yards as a pass-catcher.

Regardless of whether or not Brown is in the lineup, Sean McVay loves to utilize the passing attack. Who wouldn't when you have Cooper Kupp, Robert Woods, Brandin Cooks, Gerald Everett, and Tyler Higbee? Also, it helps when you get a chance to play a Bengals squad who has the worst run defense in the NFL.
